A wonderful opportunity!

My sweet cousin, Christine, commissioned me to paint these two pieces ... one for her husband's office and the other for their home in Wyoming. The scale of both paintings was very fun to work with ... both are fairly large pieces and offered several challenges for me. I loved the experience, however, and learned a lot in the process! Autumn Fly Fishing

I believe that my favorite month of the year is September ... for may reasons, but one of the defining ones for me is the great fly fishing the season affords! This little piece is another one of my fly fishing themed paintings. Ah, aqua therapy!

The Colors of Autumn

This was a study that I did with Jerry Yarnell on line. It reminds me very much of the colors of fall and the changing of the seasons in a local park, just east of Bountiful, Utah ... a little paradise right in our own back yard. It represents the glorious changes in nature that autumn brings ... it's one of the reasons we love to live in Utah!
