- I have had (and continue to have) a wonderful career in the Residential and Commercial building industry. For the past 35 years, I have had the priviledge of working for our market leader, Ivory Homes and their related companies. They have provided me with many opportunities for personal expression and leadership. I started painting after suffering a back injury in 1995 as a way to pass the time during my convalescense. It not only helped me get through that tough period, but I found out that I really enjoyed painting and that I had an aptitude for it! A special thanks to my wife, Maureen, for her endless support of my interests. She is both encouraging and tolerant. Also to my wonderful children and grandchildren to whom this site is dedicated. PS ... I have had many people ask if I sell my work. The answer is "yes" ... see the link below to my website for details. My paintings have sold from $50 to $5000. I am sure we can suite something to every budget and circumstance, so feel free to contact me ... I would love to help you develop some meaningful and affordable art.

Kirt, I found your blog today while searching for someone one ELSE'S blog, actually. Which is funny, because I typed in the name Harmon (which is my OWN last name) and found YOU... a fellow artist... a fellow member of the LDS faith... AND a fellow member of the LDS faith to boot! I'm very pleased to have found your blog. You're a tremendously talented artist. Thanks for sharing your talent. I wonder if we're related? Hmmm... I grew up in West Jordan, but moved to Las Vegas about 14 years ago. Anyway, kudos on the artwork. I love your stuff.
